The Chip Miller Charitable Foundation and Carlisle Events are joining forces to create the new Corvette Endurance Race Team to awareness for amyloidosis – the deadly disease that took Chip Miller’s life in 2004. All proceeds for this exciting event will go to the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation which is a not-for-profit 501 C (3) corporation.

The Team will participate in the 12 Hours at the Point, an endurance race for sports cars and sedans hosted by the Washington Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA).  The Carlisle Team will be one of the few Corvette teams ever to participate in this SCCA-sanctioned endurance race.

One of the two Corvette Z06's participating in the 12 hour Summit Point race will be driven by Bill Miller III, Todd Sprinkle and Lance Miller. Lance Miller said, "We'd love for the Corvette community to come out in force to join us in our efforts to help raise awareness for amyloidosis and at the same time have fun! We're dedicated to make this event one you won’t forget, so please join us!"
