Darren has been aware of the Millers
and Carlisle Events since he was a boy. Back then, he would
travel from upstate New York to Carlisle to help hunt for –
and carry – parts for his dad’s restoration projects
ranging from 1929 Model A’s to mid-60’s muscle cars.
Now a Carlisle resident with his wife, son, and daughter, Darren
still maintains a strong affinity for classic and exotic cars
and is glad to have another generation of the family excited
about attending the events. In learning more about Chip Miller’s
life and his lasting impression on the lives of all that knew
him, Darren became increasingly aware of Amyloidosis and CMCF.
“It is truly unfortunate that I never had the honor to
meet and know Chip. He was an incredibly special person that
left an amazing legacy that I am so blessed to be part of now.
I have the utmost respect for Lance, Judy, Michele, and my fellow
Board members.” It’s a dream of Darren’s to
co-pilot a Corvette across America with Lance to raise national
awareness for both Amyloidosis and the foundation.

disease. If Chip Miller had been informed earlier, he might
still be with us today." Bob lives with his wife Bridget and
toy poodle Prada in Wauconda, IL. He loves to spend time with
his daughter Dori, son-in-law Bob and his adorable grandchild
Ryan. In his spare time Bob likes to fish and travel.. |

variety. Animals in need always find their way to her home.
She has cared for deer, raccoons, cats, dogs, squirrels and
rabbits. Diane has been with Carlisle Events for 26 years and
in that time became a close and dear friend of Chip Miller.
She is the Director of Customer Relations and deals mainly with
the vendors and participants of the collector car events as
well as being involved in the community on the company's behalf.
"Chip Miller was not only my employer but also one of the best
friends of my life. He was taken way too early by a terrible
disease we know way too little about. By helping to bring awareness
of this disease to others, I feel I am continuing his battle
against it." Diane lives in Carlisle, PA with her supportive
fiance James. She has two terrific nieces in Pennsylvania and
Florida and a "surrogate daughter" in California. Diane loves
to travel and is a big thrill rider. |
