Our only criteria is to have fun while being creative! Let’s show how much you love Ocean City, NJ. Draw your favorite thing about OC – is it the beach, the surf, the food, the shops or something else or a combination of many things? Please include the word Amyloidosis Awareness somehow in your design. This will be the 17th year for the Chip Miller Surf Fest, however no dates or reference to a year/date are required |

Very Important Design Specs
- Original hand drawn artwork or computer graphic design will be excepted. So go ahead and get out your paint, markers, crayons, etc.
- Submit your design as a jpeg or pdf file
- Design will be on the back of the shirt
- We recommend your design size be at least 8.5″ x 11″ scanned in at low-res 72dpi for judging purposes
- If you win, we will require you to send a high-resolution, 300dpi file to print your design on the t-shirt
- Fill out your info online at chipmiller.org and submit file (on this page)

Submissions will be accepted online beginning April 6, 2020. The deadline for entry is 11:59 pm EST on April 30, 2020. All entries will be reviewed by our extremely talented team of local artists. Winners will be selected from each age category with an overall grand prize winner. Winners will be notified by May 15, 2020.

Every contest needs rules. We know it’s a drag… but we promise to keep it simple! Here they are – the official rules for the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation T-Shirt Design Contest.
A) Eligibility
- Age Requirements
No age requirement. If under 18 make sure you have permission to enter from your parent or guardian. - No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win.
You do not need to make a purchase to enter or win this contest. - Void Where Prohibited by Law.
Any disputes arising under the terms and conditions of this contest will be governed by the State of New Jersey, USA
B) Contest Entry Guidelines
- The Work Must be Original
No unauthorized use of any copyright images, text, or other material will be accepted. Please ensure that the piece you submit is your own. We’re sensitive to copyright law… and we don’t want any trouble. So please send in only art that you’ve created, and that does not include any licensed characters. - All Entries Must be Submitted Online

Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation cannot be responsible for entries not received due to technical issues and accepts no responsibility for technical support of any entries.
C) Guidelines & Judging Criteria
- Appropriate Content
Content should fit the category. To be considered for this contest, please ensure that the subject matter of your art fits the criteria outlined above in the Design Guidelines & Inspiration section. - Winners will be selected by our local talented artists
D) General Conditions
- Authorize Rights to the CMAF
By submitting your artwork, you authorize the CMAF to retain the right to the winning original artwork and to post your entry on our site indefinitely, and grant the CMAF the right to use and display your design for marketing purposes through any or all of the CMAF’s marketing channels. This includes but is not limited to print publications, online, on social media, and in emails. - The CMAF Reserves the Right to Adjust Contest Rules Without Notifying Contestants
Contest rules can be changed and updated without notice. Contest participants are responsible for checking the site for changes and should review the rules prior to each submission. - The Winner Will be Required to Submit the Winning Entry as a Hi-Res File
In order to reproduce the winning art onto our t-shirt canvas, the art must be submitted as a hi-res file. If no hi res file is available, the winner thereby forfeits their winnings, and an alternative winner will be chosen.
