The Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation hosts events, fundraisers, raffles, auctions and much more each season. Our main objective is to celebrate Chip’s life and raise awareness of this terrible disease – amyloidosis. We do our best to ensure our supporters have a good time while supporting our great cause.
The monies raised each year are donated to various organizations that also do their best to help educate people about amyloidosis or help those inflected with the disease. Here are what a few of the various groups that we’ve donated too said about the CMAF.
Let me take this opportunity to thank you for your generous support over the years. We have been able to expand our support group meetings to 30 cities in the US where we meet one to three times a year! We now reach more than 5000 patients and their loved ones across the globe via our groups and webinars! Because of our meetings, awareness video and booklet, we have been able to educate physicians, as well as those diagnosed with amyloidosis. As you know a physician cant diagnose amyloidosis if he or she does not look for it. Awareness and education are key. An educated patient is an empowered patient. We could not have done any of this without the generosity of our donors, of which The Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation has been a vital part. Thanks to you and the CMAF family for all you do.
